On Wednesday, May 22nd at 6:30pm winemaker Dr. Andrew Hedley, the most acclaimed Riesling winemaker of New Zealand, will be presenting an unique selection of German and Austrian dry Riesling and comparing a range of soil types and ages.

Recognising that great wines begin in the vineyard, the Young Viticulturist of the Year competition celebrates the future of viticulture. This prestigious competition is open to those aged 30 years and younger and tests the wide range of skills required to be a successful vit. There are five regional competitions this year with the National Final being held on 28 August at Escarpment in Wairarapa.
The Marlborough competition will be held on 4 July 2024.
